i saw an owl the other day. it was in the middle of the road holding a squirrel between its claws. i felt bad when it had to drop it's meal in favor of flying away so it wouldnt be hit by our car. we wouldn't have hit it, of course, but it was smart to leave for any other vehicle with a less kind driver. i hope it got its meal back.
